When is the last time you gave your house a physical inspection – a mold checkup? You may not see it, but mold could be growing in numerous places. Traces of mold won’t affect the health of most people, but prolonged exposure could provoke asthmatic or allergic sinus reactions such as itching or watering eyes, sniffles, and sneezing.
Once you locate the places where mold is growing, you want to use cleaning products that will remove the mold without releasing harmful vapors indoors. Inhaling strong bleach vapors can irritate your lungs and respiratory system when using it as a cleaning solution. Safe, yet effective, full strength, white vinegar will do the job. Grab a spray bottle of undiluted white vinegar, and a cloth or sponge, and our list to hunt down nasty mold, bring it out of hiding, and rid it from your home.
