Soothing, smoky, and flavored to perfection, this soup takes a few yummy twists from traditional taco soup. You'll find black beans instead of kidney beans and mixed vegetables instead of corn in this hearty, satisfying recipe. The vegetables: onions, bellpeppers, corn, peas, carrots and beans add an assortment of colors and nutrients.
The seasonings seal the deal, making it my husband's new favorite soup! Smoked paprika is the key spice in this savory pot of soup. If you haven't cooked with smoked paprika, you're in for an awesome flavor experience.
With all the wet and chilly weather coming our way we continue to enjoy this hearty, satisfying soup. A warm fire in the hearth and a savory bowl of soup - counting our blessings!
